People want something that is fun and interactive. The old-fashioned model of bringing in a speaker is fine, but it's super passive.You're just sitting there listening to the speaker, who may have a great message, but it's not engaging. It's not interactive at all, so the experience is less than it could be. Looking at slides is so last century. You might as well just email a powerpoint or a link to a YouTube video you like and save the money.
